Draft Agreement Migration Launch
We’ve released a new feature that allows you to seamlessly migrate draft agreements from ACD5 into Catina. This enhancement simplifies your transition by giving you direct access to the latest versions of your in-progress agreements, all within the modern Catina platform.
What’s Changing
Previously, migrating a project from ACD5 triggered a comparison that allowed for a one-time re-sync of differences.
Now, with Draft Agreement Migration:
- Each migration pulls in the latest version of your draft agreements from ACD5.
- Every migration creates a new copy of the project and its agreement drafts in Catina.
- You can migrate a project as many times as needed, but each migration will generate a new set of drafts.
How It Works
- Navigate to your project in Catina.
- Select Migrate Project from the project table
-
Catina will create a new copy of your project using the most up-to-date version from ACD5, including any draft agreements currently in progress.
-
Your existing projects and documents in Catina remain unchanged.
Note: This action pulls in the full project structure and any associated agreement drafts from ACD5. Forms and payment applications are not yet supported.
Best Practices
- If you plan to migrate multiple times, we recommend fully transitioning your work into Catina to avoid duplicate project copies.
- Use clear naming conventions or tags in Catina to distinguish between multiple migrated versions of the same project.
- Do not rely on ACD5 drafts after migration. Instead, continue editing and finalizing your agreements within Catina.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are my form or pay app drafts?
Currently, only agreement drafts are supported. Draft migration for forms and payment applications is coming soon.
Why do I see multiple copies of my project in Catina?
Each migration brings in a new copy of your agreement drafts from ACD5. If you migrate a project more than once, you’ll see each version as a separate instance.
Can I add drafts to a previously migrated project?
Not yet. Currently, each migration creates a new project. Adding drafts to an existing migrated project is planned for a future release.
I migrated my project but don’t see any drafts. What should I do?
If your project includes a large number of drafts or extensive edits, processing may take a few moments. Try refreshing the page.
